We’ve been sitting on this fire mix from HEDDA, who's put together something a little bit different to her usual signature cocktail of fast paced-breaks and bounce.
This mix just goes to show the versatility of the between BLN > BCN based producer, keeping it iconically trippy and HEDDA-esque while exploring new realms inspired by some names we are big fan-girls of.
First and foremost thank you so much for taking the time to put this fire mix together, can you tell us a little bit about the energy behind this mix, is there anything you would prescribe doing while listening?
Thank you for having me <3 I’ve wanted to make this mix for a long time, so it was a real pleasure! The energy behind this mix comes from a different corner of electronic music compared to what I usually play, based on sounds & artists that have really inspired me over the past year. In my opinion, it’s very Climate of Fear (iconic party in Berlin), heavily influenced by Kia’s closing set there in April 2024. More inspo comes from Roza Terenzi, Aurora Halal, and Maara. It’s more trippy, slower than I usually play, and. Think trippy vibes, progressive house & (psy)trance, breaks, and latin percussions. To be honest, I also had Hue & Saturation in mind while making this mix, since I’ve been listening to several mixes from your series on repeat.
Put this mix on while travelling somewhere you’re excited to be, when going out for a run or at the gym, on the metro going to the pre-party, while biking through the night, or during those early-morning afters. It also works while having cosy times with someone special ;)
You’ve got a banging full frontal single just released with Young Lychee, IRL Fatigue that’s anything but - how was it collaborating with them?
Making music with Bob (Young Lychee) is so much fun and inspiring. I love his workflow and I learn something new every time. When we produce music together, we keep in mind the kind of tracks we love playing in our B2Bs - we’ve done five or six of them at this point. With IRL Fatigue (out on Tete Vide), we both wanted to show another side of our sounds and create a club banger with bouncy, groovy, happy vibes.
Are there any more releases in the pipelines we can look forward to? And how are you finding yourself and your sound / producing after your sixth release?
I have another track coming out in March 2026 on the French record label Matière - another collab, this time with my dear friend Felipe (mecha corta). It’s a very silly, bouncy track featuring my own vocals for the first time! It’s called pew pew pew, inspired by my favourite WhatsApp sticker of a cat shooting hearts from its paws saying pew pew pew (almost too silly, I know).
Having released six tracks on different compilations since 2023, I feel like I’m getting closer to defining my sound as a music producer, even though I still love being genre-diverse. Producing in Ableton is an entire science, it’s like a whole world where the learning possibilities are endless. I still feel like it’s a long way to go, but with every finished track I feel more comfortable and confident. In 2026, I’m hoping to finally release my first EP!
Some of my biggest influences when it comes to music production are Amor Satyr & Siu Mata, Maara, Mathis Ruffing, and Sassy 009. What I want the most is for my music to give people energy, maybe even goosebumps, whether it’s on the dance floor or in their headphones. In the future, I hope to include more of my own vocals and experiment with making more “normal” songs as well as slower, more ambient vibes.

What’s next for Hedda?
Up next is to plan the launch of my own record label. I will spend the winter finalising everything and preparing the first release and club event - I’m SUPER excited about this. In 2026, I’m also starting my residency at the club OXI in Berlin, kicking things off with the NYE party. Playing regularly at Nitsa in Barcelona (my second home apart from Stockholm<3) will likely continue as well.
I have some fun trips coming up, for example the UK in May 2026, probably Georgia in September, and NYC + Mexico in October/November (hint to promoters). I will also work on finishing tracks for my first EP and continuing to collaborate with other artists and music producers. I absolutely love studio sessions with others, even though producing alone in my own bubble can be amazing too. What’s next is also to keep organising club events (which I absolutely love to do), and continue organising shoots for the photographer Nicho Santini with DJs and artists (if you like his work and want a shoot with him, hit me up!!!)
Stay up to date with Hedda here!
