Wavyrager is tearing up dancefloors all over Eora and beyond with their infectious, high NRG sets and this one is no different!
First and foremost thank you so much for taking the time to put this gorgeousssss mix together, can you tell us a little bit about the energy behind this mix, is there anything you would prescribe doing while listening?
Oh thank you so much for letting me be part of this glorious mix series. I had a great time working on this mix. I call this speedy wavy lol, I just really wanted to do a high energy mix. Something to make you bounce. I think the right prescription for the mix would be some natural wine beautiful company and a bag of weed.

I feel like we’re really seeing Eora opening back up at the moment, with heaps of events and parties back and happening - how has this past year been for you gig and going out wise? Have there been any highlights (playing or punting)?
That is very correct. I feel like Sydney is going through a crazy resurgence right now. The nightlife and the music scene is definitely flourishing and is not a limited to the city and inner west area na mean
Last year I played a homies farewell party that was pure madness. Definitely my favourite set last year. My favourite collective right now would be Community Chest, Vibe Positive and Kerfew….
You were producing your own music a while back, are you still making music?
The vibe is def on some maxwell meets d-Angelo and Eryka badu in the 21 century. Lol
During lockdown i released two projects Jukai and In Practice both projects are available on Spotify and Apple.
I grew going to church and play a few instruments mainly bass. My mum used to always play Bob Marley and lucky Dube around the house. I guess music has always been a big part of life. I can definitely say my favourite, and probably worst memories are attached to some of the greatest music ever you know. I guess I’ve always been drawn to music.

What’s next for Wavyrager?
I’m pretty excited to be part of this residency with club, 77 its going be a fucking big vibe. Feeling super honoured to be playing in such an iconic venue in eora.
Also hope to release some wavyrager music, Gerald music. I guess that’s all I can talk about now but let’s put all these creative endeavours aside.
I’m also excited to continue working on myself you know!! trying to be a better man a better uncle, a better son. You know all these creative endeavours are fun and all that BS but personally I still strive to become a better man during my day 2 day.
