Wigs has been steadily honing and over-achieving at his club sensibilities, effortlessly traversing a spectrum that can be anywhere between modern euphoric trance to progressive house to hypnotic grooves with a tinge of ibiza sunshine. We caught up with him ahead of his release of EP “Oxygen” out on Discoteca next week.
First and foremost thank you so much for taking the time to put this fire mix together, can you tell us a little bit about the energy behind this mix, is there anything you would prescribe doing while listening?
Salut! Thank you so much for having me on your amazing platform. I distinctly remember listening to a H&S mix on a flight to Paris a couple of years ago, ever since I’ve been an avid follower of the series and have learnt so much from your interviews with artists.
This mix is a pretty accurate representation of what I’m playing in my club sets, so definitely a good mix to chuck on at your pres, although enjoy however you please :)
You’ve had a huge year, starting out with “I Know” on Goddezz, and multiple releases on the likes of Fuaim, Dream Software and Neptune Discs to name a few. What’s been your favourite release so far for you as a producer?
2025 has been such a hectic year for me and I’ve been extremely fortunate to release on these amazing labels. Wow, that's a tricky one! I’d have to go with my most recent ‘Pressure Control EP’ on Fuaim. I really enjoyed exploring a new sound on this release, incorporating more cunty energy and exploring some of my latin influences.
Aside from the tracks themselves, I also loved the process of putting the release together. The Fuaim crew are such a great bunch and were lovely to work with. Our vision, both sonically and visually were super aligned from the get go, so was a a joy to see the release come together - shout out Sandy, Becky, Feargal x
Do you feel like your sound is evolving steadily in one direction or another?
My sound seems to be shifting into a more tekky space as of late, slightly away from my progressive house roots. I wouldn’t say it’s evolving steadily, more bouncing from one place to another. I’m constantly exploring new sounds so it’s hard to know where I’ll go next.
Who or what are some of your biggest influences? And what are some of your favourite labels or artists who had a hand in the making of this absolutely gorgeous mix?
My biggest influence in music, and has been for years now, is your previous guest: Sansibar. I have been in awe of Sunny’s productions ever since I heard his early electro productions when I was 15. His blend of high octane production and darkly euphoric atmospherics is something I’m constantly searching for in my own productions. I’ve been in the same room as him a couple of times now and have still been too nervous to go say hi haha! He’s my idol for sure.
This mix is packed to the brim with unreleased material from some of my absolute favs, big up - Von Riu, Tywi, Fazack, Aiden Francis, Body Clinic, Guy Contact x

What’s next for Wigs?
This year is certainly not slowing down! Another three or four solo EPs on the horizon before the new year. I’m also launching a trip hop alias soon, the first project is an album with the amazing Aika Mal on vocals. More news soon, stay locked.
Stay up to date with Wigs here!
