Lucky Lube weaves together the playful, the sexy, and the unhinged. Groove is in the heart, percussion in the soul and queerness is the perspective. He plays with a sensitivity that melts the emotional armour, guiding dancefloors into states of shared feeling and carries fragments of Group Therapy beyond its home base: traces of care, ecstasy, and queer joy, reassembled in real time.
Can you tell us a little bit about the energy behind this mix, is there anything you would prescribe doing while listening?
This mix is another one take gAyDHD child.
I recorded it back in February and I can say it’s flirrrtyy.
A mushroom drop, half a dexie and a spicy margarita, in that order (or not, I'm not a doctor) would be the right prescription to listen to it.
I love to reach for the perfect “aware buzz” state of mind (if you ask me) that is both floaty and present.
Are there any tracks you want to give a shout-out to?
S/o to my friends and idols Bella Sarris and Sean Fender, whose tracks on this one have been on repeat for months. Bella's just out on Layers VA and, as the title suggests, it is SICK. Sean's is unreleased. Incredible producer. Check them, book them.
And the last track. Possibly one of my favourites of all time: a 1994, eleven-minute bop I've cried to more than a few times. Organ, strings, acid all climaxing together. Eddie Fingers - Til Death Do Us Disco. I will play this at my funeral (or someone will.)

I love the theme around Group Therapy, a party you co-founded showcasing some of CPH’s finest heavy-weights spinning bouncy house, techno and breaks, expelling traces of care, ecstasy, and queer joy. How did GT come to be and what makes it different from other CPH parties happening atm in your opinion?
What makes this party hit differently, (cliché as it sounds) is the intention.
Last World AIDS Day we raised 16,000€ for charity through the party and a live auction where the whole city came down to offer goods, services, and to donate.
It's not only fun and chaos (which we love). It's proof that a room full of queers and allies can do anything.
We recently had our first 23-hour party across two locations and people are still talking about Kasra's closing set. What we experienced together was so dense.
That's what keeps us going.
You’ve played everywhere and all over - what have been some of your most memorable/favourite experiences (or parties) playing out of late?
Ngl, I fell in love with Brussels.
I recently had probably the biggest weekend of my life. So busy I had to text touring DJ friends to ask how they do it. Landed on a couple of hours of sleep to play C12 for the closing party of Pxrn Film Festival (the one I got my IG cancelled for). Incredible party, but beyond that: met some of the most genuine, committed, talented people in nightlife. The set designer from Bestas, a well-kept secret (s/o), sick diggers all around.
Brussels just really means it when it comes to music. I immediately booked my tickets to go back two weeks later.
And finally, what’s next for Lucky Lube?
Playing WHOLE Festival on my birthday weekend with Group Therapy. Can't think of a better way to celebrate both.
Finally done with a remix for my dear friend Peachlyfe, under her Soft Pxrn alias. Started it a year ago. Took my time, I know. You don't rush a remix for a friend.
Oh, and a Robyn collaboration with Group Therapy is coming up.
